Gibfest is limited to 40 entrants only. We supply basically everything you need for a great LAN experience:

• Tables
• Chairs
• Powerboards
• LAN cabling
• LAN hardware (100% Linksys/Cisco Managed Gigabit Ethernet)
• INTERNET CONNECTIVITY!!!
• Servers (Quadcore C2D, 4GB, RAID 0 HDD)
• Fileserver (Quadcore C2D, 4GB, 2TB RAID 0 Array)

Just turn up with your fully patched Rig, some cash for drinks and munchies, and you will have a great time. We also supply an internet connection – not for gaming, but for general web-browsing and MSN/Steam chat.

Games we play are by group consensus, but we tend to play Call of Duty 4 the most, we do run special comps based around the game. We also play:

• Team Fortess 2
• Left 4 Dead
• Killing Floor

Possibles include:

• Counterstrike: Source
• Day of Defeat: Source
• Unreal Tournament 3
• GRID
• R-Factor
• Trackmania
• Enemy Territory: Quake Wars

It all depends on what you have and what you want to play, and what servers we have ready to run.

Entry includes lunch, and if enough attendees, also a BBQ dinner. Cold drinks and munchies will be available onsite for nominal cost.

Spectators are welcome to join us, if spectators want to eat with us, cost is $10 to defray food/drink costs.

Interested players without the ability to bring a machine MAY have access to a limited number of Gibfest computers (likely two boxes with Q6600 B3 @ 3.2Ghz, 2GB, 88GS, 19″ WLCD). An extra fee will apply, and you will not able to use the Gibfest machines if other people want to use them next LAN (rotating roster).
